My Child's Future Win a Lap-Top Contest Winner!!!!

Welcome Hall Mission congratulates Chiraz Djebbar and her parents, winners of a new HP lap-top computer valued at over $750. It all started in December, when we invited parents, who opened an RESP for their child, to enter our Win a Lap-Top Computer contest. To be eligible, they had to be receiving a National Child Benefit supplement for their child, born on or after January 1, 2004.
Chiraz's parents learned about the contest at our Christmas For All! event and were presented with their new lap-top in early April. The contest was our way to increase awareness of the financial programs and benefits available to parents for their children's post-secondary education.
Contrary to popular understanding, it is not necessary for parents to make regular deposits into an RESP. For those who qualify, a $500 subsidy from the Canada Learning Bond is automatically deposited into the child's RESP. That doesn't even include the Registered Education Savings Plan subsidy!
