Youth Services

A future and hope; these are what Youth Services strives to impart in the lives of youth living on Montreal's streets. It's a challenging objective, but we are determined to help these young people change their situation by giving them an opportunity at a new life.

At Youth Services, we offer a balanced approach: preventive counseling through meetings and classes, intervention with regard to respecting and defending their legal rights, as well as guidance in their daily decision-making.

Who are these young people that need our help? They come from different social classes and backgrounds, mostly from underprivileged neighbourhoods and dysfunctional families. They are runaways, drug addicts, youth in the foster system, etc… Whether it is by choice or by circumstance, these street youths have something in common: feelings of exclusion and rejection.

We assist them on several fronts: job searching (by offering career planning), housing, listening and sharing time, corporal needs, a boutique of emergency clothing, 15,000 delicious meals served annually, etc… More importantly, we try to invest as much as possible into each aspect of their lives through our rehabilitation and reinsertion programs available to them.

Your support can help change the life of one of these young people!
